Rhubarb & custard delight
Add the following to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake then strain into a chilled highball glass and top with lemonade and garnish with rhubarb ribbons and fresh mint.
- 50ml Rhubarb & Custard Gin
- 25ml Monin rhubarb puree
- 15ml Advocaat
A remarkable success despite the strange mix. It really does offer the subtle taste of rhubarb with its sharpness overcome by the depth of creamy vanilla. As good a flavoured gin as I’ve yet found. This is my 4th bottle as I’m never without it in the fridge.
So impressed I invented the “Dower house knee trembler” ….. puréed fresh rhubarb , advocaat , mango syrup , lime, shaken …. Topped with soda
